About The Patch

Ben and Ella started The Patch; a pick your own pumpkin patch in Weston near Baldock in 2020 to bring joy, fun and educational activities to children's October Half Term and to share the nature and countryside we have on our doorstep.

We are a working family farm with a herd of cattle and grow other crops such as wheat and barley. We can't wait to have visitors to the farm to come and pick our lovingly grown pumpkins, we think its important for children to learn where their food comes from and how it is grown. There will be some fun activities to do at The Patch and new this year we have a maize maze! There will also be somewhere to grab some yummy refreshments.
